Correct the father and mother directly from genealogy
The web and mobile apps now let you assign, change or remove each parent from the family tree, including the option to use a semen-batch donor as the father.

What changed
Each Father and Mother node has its own action. The father can be selected from compatible registered males or from a semen batch with an identified donor, while the mother is selected from compatible registered females.
Using a semen batch in this flow only records the genealogical reference: it does not consume doses, move inventory or create a reproductive service.
Changes require an active animal and edit permission. The system validates account, species and sex compatibility, and mobile changes require a connection.
After confirmation, the tree and inbreeding analysis refresh. Internal parents remain navigable animal records, while a catalog sire is clearly identified as an external reference.
